rob drexler  piester ron   The ICC elections at the 2011 ICC Annual Business Meeting in Phoenix were a tremendous success for the great state of New York.

Our own Ron Piester was elected Vice President paving the way for him to become the president of ICC next year. ICC Officers serve a term of one year.

Rob Drexler, Fire Marshall from the Town of Greece, Monroe County, NY, was also successfully elected to a position on the ICC Board of Directors. Rob decided at the last minute to mount a campaign to run for one of the open "director at large" seats that had a two year vacancy.  He was nominated from the floor during the elections and was opposed by Jim Brown, from Gillette, Wyoming.  In the ensuing election, Rob was elected to fill the two year term.  This places New York again in the position of having a member on the ICC Board of Directors for the future.
